Humor is a very much important element in people's lives. Jokes and funny pictures can make humans laugh. It is interesting that only humans have ability to laugh, and also make others laugh.

The question is why people laugh? According to some researches people laugh when they see something which is strange, odd or contradictory. Many a times a piece of humor or a joke makes fun of a person. In that case humor can make other people feel good as they feel they are not that weak or bad. Humor has this great ability to make people see a new angel of the situation. Lots of times humorists and satirists use humor to convey their feelings that otherwise they find tough to convey without help of humor. Now beer is cheaper than water in the UK. According to a report by Times Online, supermarkets have been accused of encouraging binge drinking by continuing to sell alcohol more cheaply than bottled water.

Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are among those selling beer at just over 5p per 100ml. This contrasts with a typical price of about 8p for 100ml of brand-name mineral water.

Campaigners claim such retailers are “irresponsible”, using cheap alcohol to lure customers, while ignoring warnings from senior health figures that selling it at rock-bottom prices leads to more drinking.

A university student who was photographed urinating over a war memorial was warned on Wednesday that he could be jailed for the "disgusting act." Philip Laing, 19, was charged by police after the picture, which showed him urinating on a poppy wreath following a drinking session in the center of Sheffield, appeared on a national newspaper's website. "The image of your urinating over the poppy wreath on the war memorial in this city will make most turn away in disgust, shock and sadness," said District Judge Anthony Browne. "It has undoubtedly distressed and upset many. The war memorial is a sacred and a special place." Laing, who appeared in the dock wearing a poppy, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency when he appeared at Sheffield Magistrates' Court. Browne adjourned sentencing for reports, saying all options including custody, were open, the Press Association reported. The court heard that Laing, a sports technology student at Sheffield Hallam University, had drunk a bottle of whisky before attending an organized student drinking session organized by a private company, Carnage UK.
