Life is full of tensions of all kinds. Modern living has become quite stressful , making it necessary for people to find some time to have fun.

As people grow in their personal and professional life , their responsibilities grow and they become tense. The modern day life demands a lot on our physical , mental and emotional resources. You need to be alert all the time to achieve your goals in life.

Personal life can induce stress for lots of people. Relationships , if not working out , can be stressful for people. Many young people suffer in romantic relationships. Even married couples go through lots of mental pain if they have to go through the whole process of divorce. Young people , who do not have any relationship with the apposite sex , feel lonely and may become stressful. Old people in their retirement age feel alone and anxious if there is no one to look after them.

Professional life can make people go through lots of emotional disturbances. When a man loses his job he becomes worried about his financial support. A person without money can face lots of trouble. Working in some companies can be stressful. There are tensions related to raise , promotion , job security , etc. Internal politics in a company may also make your stressed out.

As seen recently , any economic recession at a large scale can bring in lots of misery to a large number of people worldwide. More than a million people lost their jobs in the recent economic recession in 2008. The recession had less impact in the fast growing markets like Indian and China , but in developed countries it had more impact.

It is important to relax yourself in the tense world. If you get too much stressed in life find some time to enjoy yourself. Find some excuse to rewind yourself. Go to a bar , theater or just have fun with your family members.

Now beer is cheaper than water in the UK. According to a report by Times Online , supermarkets have been accused of encouraging binge drinking by continuing to sell alcohol more cheaply than bottled water.

Tesco , Asda , Morrisons and Sainsbury’s are among those selling beer at just over 5p per 100ml. This contrasts with a typical price of about 8p for 100ml of brand-name mineral water.

Campaigners claim such retailers are “irresponsible” , using cheap alcohol to lure customers , while ignoring warnings from senior health figures that selling it at rock-bottom prices leads to more drinking.

A WET T-shirt controversy has broken out among female firefighters who have complained their new Rural Fire Service  shirts become see-through when wet. More than 600 volunteers joined a Facebook petition to object to the issuing of the bright yellow shirts to replace existing navy blue ones.

Women complained that when they sweat , handle leaking hoses , wash or fill their trucks and even when it rains , their male colleagues can see through their new shirts , The Daily Telegraph reports.

"Most women aren't too happy about it. We're not doing the job to be glamorous. We're not sex objects , " Sydney volunteer Maryann Berndt , 34 , said yesterday.

A New Mexico woman kicked off an airplane at the Burlington International Airport three years ago for breast feeding her baby is suing Delta Air Lines. Negotiations failed to reach a settlement between the Atlanta-based airline and Emily Gillette. On Wednesday Gillette filed suit in U.S. District Court in Burlington.

Gillette was ordered off a Delta Connections plane by a flight attendant after twice refusing an order to cover up while she breast fed her baby prior to takeoff. Gillette's lawsuit says she felt "shame and embarrassed" after being ordered off the plane.

Delta refused to comment on the suit , but a spokesman says the airline supports a mother's right to breast-feed.

The Indiana Court of Appeals in the US says six inmates at the Greene County Jail didn't commit a crime when they sneaked into each other's cells to have sex.

The 2-1 ruling upheld Greene Superior Court Judge Dena Martin's decision dismissing escape charges against three men and three women. Martin ruled the inmates didn't commit a crime because they didn't intend to leave the jail.

Two appellate judges agreed , but Judge Ezra Friedlander issued a lengthy dissent Wednesday , reasoning that the inmates committed escape because they left the cells where they were ordered confined.

Court records say the men — ages 44 , 38 and 17 — and the women — ages 27 , 26 and 21 — crawled through the ceiling after midnight , having sex and drinking homemade alcohol.

Teenagers are being bribed with free alcohol to take sexual health tests in the UK. The move is an attempt to cut the increasing levels of sexually transmitted infections , amid dwindling numbers who volunteer to be tested.

Under a countrywide scheme proposed by the National Union of Students , those who take part in the health tests are given tokens which can be exchanged for alcoholic drinks. But some of the events , held during university fresher weeks , have descended into drunken mayhem with students abusing the incentive.

It comes as chlamydia emerged as the most common sexually transmitted infection in the UK accounting for 121 , 000 cases last year , with two-thirds among 16 to 24-year-olds.

Last night medical experts , including the Department of Health , criticised the events for encouraging binge drinking. Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe said: ‘The organisers are naive to think that when alcohol’s involved , students wouldn’t work out a way to abuse the system.

‘Using alcohol to bribe youths into testing is also unsuitable as we’re trying to curb binge drinking not promote it.’

Baltimore County police in the US said a school bus driver who didn't drop several children off at their homes after school Thursday had told them he had gotten lost.

School officials said the bus left Pleasant Plains Elementary School in Towson at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday once after-school activities were finished. They said the 52-year-old was new on the job and wasn't sure where to go.

"This was his first day on that route. He got started and made a wrong turn and then apparently had difficulty getting himself back to where he should have been , " said Baltimore County police spokesman Bill Toohey.Parents told 11 news that many of the children were in tears.

"I wanted to know what happened , said parent Denita Watts. "Why was this bus driver not dropping any of the Kids off at home?

"They're normally at home no later than 5:30. So yes , I was very upset and I was concerned and I wanted to know about the safety of my child , " she said.

Police say a Wisconsin woman in the US stripped in front of her children in an attempt to avoid arrest for shoplifting , then scuffled with officers and exposed herself through a squad car window.

Julia E. Laack , 36 , of Sheboygan was charged Friday with felony battery of a peace officer , resisting an officer , shoplifting and two counts of disorderly conduct , the Sheboygan Press reported. The criminal complaint alleges Laack stole a bag of beef jerky and a lighter at a convenience store Thursday afternoon. Police went to her home. The complaint said she refused to come to the door and began screaming and swearing at three children in her house , telling one that the incident was all his fault.

Police entered and tried to calm her down. With her children present , the complaint said , she stripped to her underwear and told the officers they couldn't arrest her because she would be naked. Laack struggled with the officers as they tried to arrest her , the complaint alleged , kicking one in the groin and spitting in the mouth of another.

While in the squad car on the way to the police station , the complaint said , Laack exposed her buttocks against the rear window. The complaint said Laack had a preliminary blood-alcohol level of 0.112%. The legal blood-alcohol limit for driving is 0.08%.

Laack remained in jail Friday night. A man who answered the phone at her home declined comment.

Police arrested a Bountiful man early Friday for allegedly groping a nurse who was helping a woman who was in labor with his baby at an Ogden hospital.

Adam Jay Manning , 30 , brought a pregnant woman in labor to McKay-Dee Hospital around 3 a.m. Friday , said Ogden police Lt. Loring Draper. When a nurse came to assist the couple , Manning looked the nurse "up and down" and made an observation about her appearance , Draper said.

"He makes a comment about how cute she looks , " Draper said. The nurse ignored Manning and continued helping the woman in labor , who was in a wheelchair and waiting to be taken to a delivery room. Manning continued his pursuit of the nurse , however , by telling her something looked wrong with her neck , Draper said. He attempted to massage the nurse's neck and then reached out and grabbed her breast , Draper said.

The nurse pushed Manning away and moved to the other side of the wheelchair , Draper said. She reported the incident to police , who arrested Manning on suspicion of felony forcible sexual abuse.

He was being held in the Weber County jail.
