Film: London Paris New York; Director: Anu Menon; Rating: **
The first-time director Anu Menon’s film London Paris New York is pretty average. This is story of a Mumbai-born son of a film producer traveling to London to join a film school. Here he meets Lalitha Krishnan, a woman on a mission to change the world. Now as you can guess, their Love story begins and spreads across over the years from London to Paris and New York.
The lead characters connect instantly in London, despite their different backgrounds. They spend some time together and then promise to meet each other again in six months in New York. Their meeting gets a bit delayed. The first half of the film is better than the second half. Lead actors Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari look good together. The dialogues in the first half is conversational. However, it gets too filmy in the second half. The film has good cinematography. The essence of the three cities are shown through the camera. The locations are also pretty good too. The cinematographer Sameer Arya seems to be the real hero of the film.
Overall, London Paris New York is a good looking, but average film.
